My first injection was mandibular block.. hahaha.. ^^
such an amazing experience!!
like other dental students, it will cause your heart beat faster, your palms get wet, a little shaking movements and other symptoms of firs injection experience (especially, on the mouth..)
It's better to prepare yourself before you do this. Please read again the instruction on your anesthesiology notes. Twice.Try to watch some videos about it, yes, you may find a lot of videos in Youtube site! It was proven to reduce my anxiety and will enhance my skill also. But the best solution is to let the instructor (oral surgeon, of course..) guide you during the administration of local anesthetic... ^^ the best clinical guidance from the experts..
and, oh,i have some precaution for you all: giving an administration of local anesthethic somehow may cause addiction, you will want to do it more and more.. hehe.. (to have a little more practice, maybe? practice makes perfect,eh?) Y ^^ Y
NOTE: remember the complication that might be happened
here i have some links about dental anesthesia (PDF version), hope you like it ^^
